FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmacy, particularly to the chemical-pharmaceutical industry, and concerns a method of producing novel semi-synthetic esters of zeaxanthin and can be used to produce medicinal preparations based on these compounds. Described is synthesis of semisynthetic esters of natural zeaxanthin and benzoic, n-methylbenzoic, phenylglycolic, nicotinic, salicylic acids, ibuprofen and ketoprofen. Method for synthesis of zeaxanthin esters enables to carry out esterification reactions with model acids (benzoic, phenylglycolic, n-methylbenzoic) and drugs (nicotinic and salicylic acids, ibuprofen, ketoprofen) in a non-aqueous medium, at temperature 40 °C, which is due to use of biocatalyst Amano Lipase PS.
EFFECT: disclosed method of synthesis of semi-synthetic derivatives of natural zeaxanthin enables to obtain esters thereof with model acids (benzoic, phenylglycolic, 4-methylbenzoic) and medicinal agents (nicotinic, salicylic, ibuprofen, ketoprofen), which can be used for development of new original domestic medicinal agents.
