METHOD OF NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT OF CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61H1/00

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for non-invasive treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. Method consists in fixing the base on the back surface of the hand and the forearm, fixing the pins on the base. Studs are connected by crosspieces attached to pins by means of nuts. Adhesive layer is applied on a front surface of a wrist and a wrist joint to fix tape and the tape is stuck down crosswise. Ends of longitudinal and transverse stripes of tape are fixed on webs, then they are moved along pins in direction from forearm and hand. Position of jumpers is fixed with the help of nuts, and the obtained device is supposed to be worn for 7 days with repetition of courses 3 times with pause of 2 days.

EFFECT: method provides high therapeutic effectiveness and quality of treating carpal tunnel syndrome, achieved by providing local decompressive action of tape on deep layers of skin and located under it ligaments and fascia of wrist joint and hand, which are front wall of carpal canal.
