FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for treating locally advanced oropharyngeal cancer. Method involves administration of 1 mg of allokine-alpha subcutaneously to the patients starting from the first day of radiation therapy. Into ampoule containing 1 mg of a preparation in a dry kind, 1.0 ml of physiological solution of 0.9% of sodium chloride are introduced. Preparation is introduced every other day, including days free from irradiation sessions, calendar days off and holidays.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves immediate results and quality of life in radiation treatment of locally advanced oral processes of oropharynx due to reduced degree and frequency of radiation injuries.
