FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns an oral dosage form comprising an antisense oligonucleotide against SMAD7 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and an enteric coating, containing an ethyl acrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer. Group of inventions also relates to a method of treating chronic inflammatory bowel disease involving administering said dosage form to a patient; method of delivering the antisense oligonucleotide against SMAD7 to the terminal ileal and ascending colon including administering said dosage form to the patient.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides delivery of an antisense compound to a terminal ileal and colonic ascending.
