METHOD OF APPLYING GASTROENTEROANASTOMOSIS IN LAPAROSCOPIC GASTRIC BYPASS IN PATIENTS WITH MORBID OBESITY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2739467 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to bariatric surgery. Gastroenteroanastomosis width is calibrated on the probe. After the small stomach is formed, the small intestine loop is delivered anteriocolonically delivered to the small stomach. Gastroenteroanastomosis with an anterior wall of a small stomach is formed using a linear endoscopic suturing apparatus. Gastroenteroanastomosis width is calibrated by means of manual intracorporeal suture with absorbable suture, by closing the process opening left after forming the gastroenteroanastomosis in the transverse direction with respect to the gastoetheroanastomosis line on the nasogastric tube.

EFFECT: method enables minimizing a risk of developing postoperative dumping syndrome by creating an artificial narrowing in the form of a valve which prevents gastric contents from being ingested in a large amount at a time in the jejunum, as well as minimizes the risk of post-surgery weight recruitment by calibrating the width of the anastomosis and mediated regulation of the amount of food passing through it.
