METHOD OF POST-COLIC GASTRIC BYPASS WITH ONE ANASTOMOSIS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/94 A61B17/11 A61B17/34 A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2818044 C1

FIELD: medicine; bariatric surgery.

SUBSTANCE: nasogastric probe is used to form gastric tube 24 cm long. A napkin is attached to the gastric tube. Gastric tube is visualized within ligament of Treitz by its "protrusion" by means of a nasogastric probe. Greater omentum is lifted and a mesentery root is exposed, and the mesentery is opened above ligament of Treitz. Pulling the napkin, the gastric tube is pulled into the middle floor of the abdominal cavity so that it is located behind the colon and in front of the remaining part of the stomach. In the distal direction from the ligament of Treitz 20 cm is measured, manual single-row posterior rim anterior gastric gastroenteroanastomosis 3 cm long is applied.

EFFECT: method provides a high restrictive effect of the operation with simultaneous reduction of intragastric pressure due to application of manual gastroenteroanastomosis, reduced risks of postoperative complications, as well as possibility of inspecting the disconnected part of the stomach and performing interventions on the greater duodenal papilla.
