FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to high-speed displacement vessels moving on water surface and under water. Disclosed is a method of reducing hydrodynamic resistance of hull of ship by creating along longitudinal surfaces of ship hull active water flow by means of flowing jets from power jet propulsion plant by means of exhaust nozzles, arranged in the form of two-dimensional array on wetted surface of ship hull depending on hydrodynamic resistance of ship hull sections, at that, along the ship hull longitudinal recesses of the concaved section pairs located symmetrically to the diametral plane are made in the form of the oval surfaces articulated with the oval, wherein active water flow generated by flowing jets from exhaust nozzles from power jet unit inside longitudinal recesses of concave section, are swirled by tangentially escaping jets in direction of flow rotation or by means of helical blades installed in active water flow section. Disclosed also is a vessel using said method of reducing hydrodynamic resistance of housing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in minimizing hydrodynamic resistance of moving ship and, as a result, increasing ship speed.
