FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of landing UAV on landing platform. For landing UAV on landing platform UAV finds location of landing platform, determines planned point of landing on landing platform located on landing platform, tracks location of landing UAV relative to its location and flight parameters, based on obtained data, determines in real time expected UAV touchdown point and orientation of UAV in space at moment of touchdown, displaces the landing pad to the expected landing point of the UAV and changes the spatial orientation of the landing pad in accordance with the expected spatial orientation of the landing UAV.
EFFECT: higher accuracy, reliability and safety of landing of UAV on landing platform.
