FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for making metal composites in form of binary mixture or alloy formed by diffusion interaction of two metals, and is intended for use in instrument engineering, aircraft and space industries, in heat engineering, as well as in metrology for creation of standard samples of heat conductivity of solid bodies. According to the disclosed method, a metal composite with predictable heat conductivity is formed by sintering and melting a mixture of two pure metals in a given ratio and with given thermal conductivity, differing from each other by a given value. At the same time required proportion of metals mixing is calculated proceeding from heat conductivity of pure metals and preliminary measured heat conductivity of equiportal metal composite. Method makes it possible to create metal composites with thermal conductivity continuously varying in the expanded range, the lower boundary of which is significantly lower than the minimum heat conductivity of two pure metals. Estimated reliability of effective thermal conductivity prediction according to disclosed method is not less than 90%.
EFFECT: wider range of reproducible values of heat conductivity of composite material with simultaneous expansion of temperature range of its existence in high temperatures.
