FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for creating composite materials with predetermined thermophysical properties, namely, to composites in form of a two-component mixture formed by mechanical mixing of two substances. The invention is intended for use in instrument making, aviation and space industries, in heat power engineering, as well as in metrology for creating standard samples of thermal conductivity of solids. The method allows you to create two-component composites with a given thermal conductivity, continuously changing in a wide range, while the nomenclature of the substances used is practically unlimited and there are no strict requirements for their particle size distribution. In addition, the use of substances with a high melting point makes it possible to create composites with a high limiting operating temperature, up to 2000-2500°C. The estimated reliability of setting the effective thermal conductivity according to the proposed method is not less than 90%.
EFFECT: creating a material with a given thermal conductivity in a wide range of its variation with a simultaneous expansion of the temperature range and the range of substances used to create it.
