FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostics of wood physical and mechanical properties. Ceiling boards are marked with paint from coniferous rocks of radial sawing, oriented as per the location of annual layers of wood on the plate, which do not contain defects of wood. Using a jig saw, sawing out a rectangular parallelepiped with width of 25 mm, from which a sample is made. Length of the specimen shall be strictly within the zone where juvenile wood and peripheral part do not enter, where there is no uniformity of the macrostructure. Internal boundary of the sample is set at 10–15 mm from the core tube, and the outer boundary - at the same distance, but moving away from the edge rib. Using an electronic dendrometer of a transit version, in which there is a device for fixing a sample in form of a rectangular parallelepiped, macrostructure indices are determined directly at the object site, and by comparing the obtained results with the specified requirements, the material conformity for the musical instruments manufacturing is identified.
EFFECT: higher accuracy with simultaneous reduction of labor intensity of measurements.
