Dedicated network gateway device is configured to bridge, switch or route network traffic between a traditional network and networks of direct interconnections, comprises: a first set of one or more conventional network ports with a separate channel per each port, typically comprising one or more SFP+, QSFP and QSFP+ connectors, wherein such ports are connected to switches or devices, which form a traditional network; and a second set of one or more ports of direct interconnections with a large number of channels per each port (two or more), comprising one or more connectors MXC, MTP and MTO, wherein such ports are connected to a network of direct interconnections.

EFFECT: enabling possibility of direct and indirect connection devices connection by means of direct interconnection gateway.
