Method includes stages, at which set is at least one input port to receive packets from at least one external source of traffic and at least two output ports to receive requests from at least one external traffic consumer, after which received is a request on at least two output ports to receive packets of at least one multicast group from at least one external traffic consumer, then received on at least one input port is at least one packet of the above said multicast group from an external source of traffic, formed are rules of switching on the network nodes for packets transmission of at least one group specified at the previous step, herewith for the external traffic consumer first requested for the multicast group formed is the shortest path from the source input port to the output port connected to the external traffic consumer, and for the next external traffic consumers requested for the multicast group formed is the shortest path from the nearest to the output port of the given external network node traffic consumer.

EFFECT: technical result is improved data transmission security.
