FIELD: medicine; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and biotechnology. Method of producing a composition for increasing probiotic microorganisms involves cultivating bifidobacteria in a medium with low concentration of the limiting energy carbohydrate substrate during its fractional delivery, at temperature from 36 to 38 °C, with pH of culture liquid in range from 5.0 to 7.0, and termination of cultivation process, when suspension contains at least 2·109 CFU of bifidobacteria in ml and not less than 70 % of cells agglomerates in microcolony, with subsequent removal of cultivation medium and its replacement with medium of cultivation with buffered physiological solution, mixing and sorption on particles of activated carbon with size of not more than 100 mcm in amount of 10 to 40 %, addition of sucrose-gelatinous protective medium to 100 % and lyophilic drying. Described also is a composition obtained using said method.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of probiotic microorganisms by preparing them in the form of microcolonies immobilized on a suitable carrier, and also provides a composition for restoring and maintaining microecological balance in the intestinal microbial biocoenosis.
