FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: elevator fault signalling device is disclosed. Device comprises an elevator motion sensor, a motion sensor to record movement of people along the ladder and transmission of the signal generated on their basis. Signal converter and motion sensors are connected between the signal comparison device and the transducer unit to accumulate the signal from the motion sensors and convert it into a signal whose value is proportional to the passenger traffic. Motion sensors are configured to transmit elevator motion signals and travel along the ladder to the transducer unit while the transducer unit is connected to the comparator. Also disclosed is a method of fault signalling elevator.
EFFECT: reduced downtime of elevator caused by fault.
