FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a localized and cooled melt system of a nuclear reactor core intended for localization of heavy beyond design basis accidents, in particular, to devices for directing melt of core of nuclear reactor into melt trap. Guide device of melt localization and cooling system, installed under reactor housing and resting on truss-console, in addition to power frame also includes heat elements, made in such a way that ensures guaranteed penetration of core, fragments of internal devices and the bottom of the housing of the nuclear reactor into the melt trap due to exclusion of penetration of walls of the conic and cylindrical parts, and due to provision of redistribution of jet streams of melt of the core.
EFFECT: high efficiency of localising and cooling melt of core of nuclear reactor due to elimination of destruction of guide device due to concentration of impact load in conical part of guide device and exclusion of single-time ingress of core, fragments of internal devices and bottom of housing of nuclear reactor into melt trap.
