SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of monitoring and diagnosing of automatic control systems and their components. In the disclosed method, in particular, the reaction of a known system is recorded in advance at an interval in control points, and integral evaluations of the system output signals for the integration parameter values are determined simultaneously, for this, at the moment of input signal supply to input of system with nominal characteristics simultaneously start integration of control system signals in each of control points with weights, determining normalized values of deviations of integral estimates of signals of the monitored system for integration parameters, diagnostic features are determined at integration parameters, and a minimum value of the diagnostic feature is used to determine the serial number of the structural defect.
EFFECT: improved noise immunity of the method of diagnosing continuous automatic control systems by improving distinguishability of defects.
