SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing metallized material and a device for realizing said method. Method comprises feeding starting materials containing metal oxides, preferably containing iron oxides, to reducing shaft (1) and direct reduction when reacting with hot reducing gas, unloading direct recovery product from reduction shaft (1) using product unloading device (3), which is purged with sealing gas and from which exhaust gas is removed and then subjected to dry dedusting. At that, content of at least one gaseous dust-free exhaust gas component is reduced, wherein content of said component is reduced by catalytic conversion and/or combustion.
EFFECT: invention enables simple use of direct reduction product, which is carried out with exhaust gas, to obtain products of subsequent processing with provision of off-gas dust removal and with its release into environment.
