FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention describes Ziegler-Natta catalyst systems for olefin polymerisation, a solid catalyst component and a polymerisation method. Ziegler-Natta catalyst system contains magnesium, titanium, halogen and at least one compound of formula (I), as (i) internal electron donor, (ii) an external electron donor or (iii) both, where each M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M1’, M2’, M3’, M4’, M5’ and M6’ is independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxy, amino, aldehyde group, carboxy, acyl, halogen atoms, -R1 and -OR2, where each R1 and R2 independently represents C1-C10 hydrocarbyl, which is unsubstituted or substituted with a substitute selected from a group consisting of hydroxy, amino, aldehyde, carboxy, acyl, halogen atoms, C1-C10 alkoxy and heteroatoms ; and wherein when among M1-M6 and M1'-M6' any two adjacent groups on the same phenyl ring are independently selected from a group consisting of R1 and -OR2, two adjacent groups can optionally be connected to form a ring under the condition that M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M1’, M2’, M3’, M4’, M5’ and M6’ are not simultaneously hydrogen. Invention also relates to a catalyst system which contains a reaction product: 1) solid catalytic component containing magnesium, titanium, halogen and optional internal electron-donor compound, 2) cocatalyst and 3) an internal electron-donor compound which contains at least one compound of formula (I); and to a catalyst system comprising a reaction product: 1) disclosed solid catalyst component, 2) cocatalyst and 3) optional external electron-donor compound.

EFFECT: inclusion of cyclotriveratrylene and its derivatives in olefin polymerisation catalysts can improve performance of the obtained catalysts, for example, activity, hydrogen sensitivity and copolymerisation parameters.
