FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of preparation of catalysts used for olefin polymerization. Catalyst component used for olefin polymerization, that is obtained by mixing a magnesium halide solution containing an organic epoxy compound with a halogen-containing compound and precipitating a solid, is described; where the organic epoxy compound is a 3-membered epoxy compound described by formula (I), in the formula (I) R2 and R3 independently selected from the group including H or C1-C10-hydrocarbyl or halogenated hydrocarbyl, and they may have a saturated or unsaturated linear, branched or cyclic chain; or the organic epoxy compound is a 4–8 membered epoxy compound; halogen-containing compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of halogen- and titanium-containing compounds, organic halogenated hydrocarbons, acyl halides, halogen- and phosphorus-containing compounds, halogen- and boron-containing compounds, halogenated organoaluminum compounds, and halogen- and silicon-containing compounds; and a magnesium halide solution is obtained by dissolving anhydrous magnesium halide in a solvent mixture that contains an organic oxygen-containing titanium compound, an organic epoxy compound, a hydroxy-containing compound and an inert solvent. Method of preparation the specified component of the catalyst includes first carried out the dissolution of anhydrous magnesium halide in a mixture of solvents, that contains organic oxygen-containing compound of titanium, organic epoxy compound, a hydroxy-containing compound and an inert solvent and does not contain phosphate, in order to form a solution of segium halide; subsequent mixing of the magnesium halide solution with the halogen-containing compound to precipitate a solid to form the catalyst component; where the organic epoxy compound is a 3-membered epoxy compound, described by formula (I). Catalyst for the polymerization of an olefin containing the reaction product of the following components is also described: (a) the specified component of the catalyst; (b) at least one organoaluminum compound having the formula AlRmX3-m, where R denotes hydrogen or C1-C20-hydrocarbyl, X is halogen and 0<m≤3. System for producing a magnesium halide solution used in a method for producing a catalyst component intended for olefin polymerization contains an organic oxygen-containing titanium compound, an organic epoxy compound, a hydroxy-containing compound and an inert solvent, where the organic epoxy compound is a 3-membered epoxy compound, described by formula (I).
EFFECT: catalyst component has good particle morphology and excellent hydrogen transfer ability, that facilitates the use of the catalyst in a device for carrying out suspension polymerization or polymerization in the gas phase.
