SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing fuel hydrocarbon and base lubricating oil. Method comprises: separating a stream of residue in a first separation zone into a resin stream and a deasphalted oil stream using a solvent; hydroprocessing a stream of deasphalted oil in a first hydroprocessing zone; hydrotreatment of vacuum gas oil flow in first hydroprocessing zone; separating the product stream from the first hydroprocessing zone in the second separation zone into the hydrocarbon fuel stream and the unconverted oil stream; separating the unconverted oil stream in the third separation zone into one or more base lubricating oil streams, a second fuel hydrocarbon stream and a recirculation stream; hydraulic processing of recirculation flow in the second hydroprocessing zone; and separation of product stream from second hydroprocessing zone in second separation zone. Invention also relates to the device.

EFFECT: proposed invention makes it possible to efficiently and efficiently use a solvent deasphalting unit in the context of extracting heavier hydrocarbons from a vacuum residue.
