FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, particularly, to rodless internal combustion engines. Essence of invention consists in fact that cylindrical cavity of engine housing accommodates cylindrical rotor, in which along diameter two cylindrical holes are made at angle of 90 degrees to each other with two pairs of jointing pistons arranged in them and rigidly connected to sliders. Sliders sit freely on eccentrics of the two-axial shaft, which is installed freely on the cranked neck of the power take-off shaft connected to the rotor with gears at the ratio of their diameters of 1:2. Large gear with internal teeth is fixed on rotor, and smaller gear by two times with external teeth is rigidly connected to power take-off shaft. Gears are connected to each other through two intermediate gears with external teeth, which diameter is half less than small gear of power take-off shaft and are located on different sides of rear end cover of rotor, and this provides rotation of rotor and power take-off shaft in ratio of 2:1 in different directions. Engine operates in 6-stroke cycle, and number of its working cycles is equal to 4, as in 4-cylinder 4-stroke internal combustion engine. And absence of rotor cylindrical ring in it simplifies engine design and facilitates its assembly. Application of slides equipped with antifriction straps considerably increases its durability in comparison with existing 4-cylinder internal combustion engines.
EFFECT: technical result is higher specific parameters and reliability.
