SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of main pipelines and pipelines of engineering and technical support networks, in particular, to laying pipelines in sections requiring application of protective cases. Device for prevention of pipeline damage during its laying in protective case contains protective segments, which form closed protective structure on outer surface of pipeline, head with installed in its inner cavity reservoir for lubricating fluid and pump, drive wheel with transfer mechanism connected to the pump, folding retainers fixed on protective segments on the upper and lateral sides of the pipeline and interconnected by tension cables.
EFFECT: described is a device for preventing pipeline damage when it is laid in a protective case.
