FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device comprises a helmet-applicator for variable thermal and mechanical effects on the scalp in the frontal, parietal and temporal regions, including an occipital condyle and a mastoid process of the temporal bone. Device comprises heat carrier cooling and heating device, heat carrier circulation system in applicator helmet and closed circulation circuits, heat carrier temperature control means, at least one means of non-invasive temperature recording of cerebral hemisphere, as well as a programmable device for controlling operation of the device, which provides the specified modes of cooling and heating of heat carriers, as well as variable pressure of the heat carrier circulating in the helmet-applicator.
EFFECT: feature of the device is the possibility of using variable cooling and thermal effects, as well as variable mechanical effects on the scalp using non-invasive recording of temperature of cerebral hemispheres of the cerebrum of the subject, wherein mechanical effects are aimed at increasing inflow of venous blood of head skin to venous sinuses of dura mater and surface of cerebral cortex.
