FIELD: mixing machines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for carrying out various processes where a high level of macro- and micro-mixing is required: mixing, dissolution, emulsification, extraction, conducting fast reactions, including in multiphase media, and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other technologies, also for the production of nanosized particles, including oxide materials. Mixer microreactor with counter-swirling flows contains a casing, nozzles for feeding solutions of initial components, nozzles for feeding solutions of additional components, one or more nozzles for withdrawing products, the microreactor-mixer body consists of two swirl chambers, each of which contains a cover, a cylindrical part, passing into a conical confuser with a throat in a narrow part, one or more branch pipes are installed tangentially to the cylindrical part of the body in each swirl chamber for supplying initial components, and a branch pipe for additional components is installed in the lid of each swirl chamber coaxially with the body, while the throats of each swirl chamber are placed coaxially to each other in a mixing chamber equipped with one or more branch pipes for removing products, and there is an axial gap between the necks.

EFFECT: invention provides high level of macro- and micro-mixing due to high speeds of rotational motion (counter-swirl), a decrease in energy consumption due to the combined cylindrical-conical shape of the swirl chambers, an increase in the completeness of the use of the energy introduced into the apparatus due to the use of a mixing chamber, an improvement in the convenience of operation by eliminating the need for any adjustments, an increase in the productivity of the apparatus without a decrease in the quality of mixing due to a sufficiently large flow section of the neck and high rates of solution supply, the possibility of premixing several initial components in cylindrical-conical swirling chambers.
