FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of ionisation sensors and is used in turbojet engines to signal afterburner ignition. Disclosed is an ionisation flame detector, which comprises a central ionisation electrode with an internal cooling channel, as well as an inlet and an outlet for coolant intake and discharge. According to the present invention, for a sensor whose central ionisation electrode is installed in the afterburner of a gas turbine engine, said electrode is isolated from the afterburner chamber and is provided with an additional coolant intake inlet. At that, both coolant intake openings are made in the area of the main gas flow leakage to the above electrode with the greatest total gas pressure passing through the augmenter, and outlet hole of coolant outlet is made between inlet holes of coolant intake in flame stabilizer trace in combustion zone with minimum total pressure of gas passing through augmenter.
EFFECT: technical result is simple design of the sensor, reduced weight, as well as high reliability by improving the efficiency of cooling the electrode.
