FIELD: document security.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valuable document (201, 202) with protective element (100, 101, 102) and to protective element in form of strip with first polymer layer (2), which has at least one embossed diffraction structure (3), with at least one reflective layer (4), which interacts optically with diffraction structure (3), to form reflecting hologram (5) as a first visually recognizable security feature, and with at least one luminescent UV-radiation-imprinted (6), which forms second visually recognizable under action of UV light protective feature, wherein reflecting hologram (5) has at least one transparent area (8) on second protective feature. In order to increase protection against tampering of protective element, disclosed is that luminescent imprint (6) has raster printed image (60) and that transparent area (8) is formed by means of at least one recess (7) in reflecting layer (4) and by means of polymer layer (2), free from diffraction structure (3) in this region of recess (7) at least above raster printed image (60) of overprint (6).
EFFECT: disclosed is a security element and a valuable document with this security element.
