SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to aerosol delivery devices, methods of creating such devices and elements of such devices. According to certain versions of realization in the present invention devices for evaporation of an aerosol precursor composition are provided, stored in a heater and/or portable to it by means of a porous monolith, which can be, for example, porous glass or porous ceramic. Heater together with the outer part of the porous monolith can form a heating circuit, or the heater can be substantially internal to the porous monolith.
EFFECT: disclosed is an aerosol delivery device with improved fluid transfer.
