FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to devices for measuring volumes of arbitrary wood samples. Device for measuring volumes of wood samples includes a reading device, vessel with an elastic film and a flat bottom, according to the invention, the reading device and the liquid container are made in a single body consisting of two transparent cylinders connected by end faces: with a scale for measuring, and a lower diameter, of a larger diameter, from a lower end having an elastic film, and a platform of perforated material is mounted in the flat bottom of the vessel, which is connected to the vacuum device by means of a pneumatic line.

EFFECT: simple design of the device, high accuracy of measuring volumes of wood samples, including arbitrary shape.
