FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecules containing the nitric oxide functional groups and the functional groups of imidazolidinone and to methods for producing said molecules. Proposed is a compound of formula (I), in which PAr is a polyaromatic group containing at least two condensed aromatic hydrocarbon rings selected from a group formed by two condensed aromatic rings in a straight configuration and a group formed by three condensed aromatic rings in a straight configuration where said groups are not necessarily replaced by one or more carbon-based aliphatic chains which are the same or different; and Sp is a linear or branched C1-C10 alkylene chain not necessarily interrupted by one or more nitrogen, sulphur or oxygen atoms. Disclosed is also a method for producing a compound of formula (I).

EFFECT: technical result: proposed compound, when used as an agent for binding rubber to filler, enables producing rubber compositions with improved characteristics (tensile strength, stiffness, hysteresis properties).
