FIELD: nuclear medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing lead-211 / bismuth-211 (211Pb / 211Bi) for nuclear medicine. The method is based on the use of the effect of radon-219 (219Rn) emanation by a source containing radium-223 (223Ra). The source is made by creating a thin dry solid layer of radium-223 on the surface of a porous / fibrous material with an outer surface. The source is placed in an installation consisting of a sealed gas loop with forced circulation of a gas flow and a collector for the deposition of gaseous 219Rn. It's necessary to create an ice layer on the inner walls of the collector by cooling it and simultaneously injecting a water aerosol into the collector. The deposition of 219Rn and the accumulation of its decay products containing the target product are carried out on the surface of the ice layer of the collector, and the extraction of 211Pb / 211Bi is carried out by heating the walls of the collector and collecting the formed melt water.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify technology of obtaining 211Pb / 211Bi, to increase yield and to ensure high radiochemical purity of the target radionuclide.
