FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of configuring a measurement interval used in a first network access device from at least two network access devices which have established connections with a terminal device. Method comprises: performing a first network access device of network matching with another device, which is not the first network access device, from said at least two network access devices for determining whether first network access device is a configuration device; generating, by a first network access device, configuration information of a measurement interval when the first network access device is a configuration device among said at least two network access devices, wherein the configuring device is a network access device which configures the measurement interval for the terminal device, as part of the said at least two network access devices, and the measurement interval is used to indicate a time period, during which terminal device performs signal measurement in point in frequency area, which is not current operating point in frequency domain; and sending, by the first network access device, configuration information of the measurement interval to the terminal device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in avoiding frequent interruptions of data transmission and switching to another point in frequency domain for signal measurement.
