SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Method of configuring a portion of bandwidth comprises steps of: obtaining configuration information used to configure at least one bandwidth configuration in frequency domain, wherein the size and/or the position of the portion of the pass band configured by each at least one bandwidth configuration in the frequency domain, is determined using the same component in the frequency domain as a separate component, wherein the frequency-domain component comprises N resource blocks (RB), where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. At least one bandwidth configuration in the frequency domain is determined according to the configuration information.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in reduction of non-productive consumption of resources of control signal information and reduction of complexity of the device.
