FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: use: for non-destructive ultrasonic inspection of an adhesive joint. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the glued joint glue joint thickness is measured using an ultrasonic transducer, located on the adhesive joint in a certain position, measuring the level of adhesion of parts of the adhesive joint using the same ultrasonic transducer, retained in said determined position, wherein adhesion level is measured by Lamb waves with ZGV, wherein for radiation of Lamb waves with ZGV in glue seam using at least one radiating element of converter, which is located in space so as to create periodic spatial comb, said at least one radiating element changing position during each reading, and using at least one other element of the transducer for reading emitted Lamb waves with ZGV.
EFFECT: possibility of non-destructive and quantitative evaluation of adhesive joints by means of traveling Lamb waves or Lamb waves with zero group velocity (ZGV).
