FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used for production of flat ingots from aluminum alloys by semi-continuous casting. Plant comprises device (1) for supply of molten metal (2) to water-cooled crystallizer (3) with heat nozzle (4), tray (7) made with possibility of vertical movement. In upper part of heat adapter working cavity (5) is made in the form of truncated prism with hole (6) for supply of molten metal into water-cooled crystallizer. On the working surface in the central part of the tray there is bulge (9).
EFFECT: higher efficiency of casting process due to reduced cutting gate and ingot and time of stabilization of thermal conditions.
