SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molten metal teeming field. Method of molten metal flow stop through casting mold air holes includes installation of sensors on outlets from casting mold air holes for detection of molten metal run-out and signal injection about molten metal run-out. At detection of run-out signal about run-out is transmitted to robotised handler controller. In controller there are defined coordinates of the casting mold air hole, where it was defined runout. Manageable by controller robotised handler pull out cork, corresponding by dimension input into air hole of this casting mold, and it is mounted into inlet of casting mold air hole for flow stop of molten metal. In the capacity of runout sensor of molten metal in casting mold there are used sensors with fuse wire, which consists of central base material with fusion temperature lower the temperature of molten metal, casted through casting mold, and insulation layer, enveloping central base material.

EFFECT: casting safety increasing.
