FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and namely to off-road vehicles, and can be used as a propulsion device for wheelchairs to overcome the last flights of stairs in general use. The wheelchair chassis has onboard propellers each of which consists of three satellites located at the ends of one of the three radial assembly brackets, and a sun gear of the satellite drive mechanism. The satellites are cogwheels that are covered by a pneumatic track tire. The sun gear of the drive mechanism is a gear wheel with the dimensions of the teeth decreasing from the periphery to the axis of rotation of the wheel.
EFFECT: simplification of the drive mechanism of the satellites and expansion of the functionality of the wheelchair chassis, especially when it comes to hard surfaces with obstacles.
