SUBSTANCE: invention is a ceramic substrate for a microarray, comprising a coating in the form of a masking material and several discrete reaction zones, suitable for attachment of one or more binder, said zones being uncoated regions on the substrate, wherein the masking material contains a pigment, acrylic resin, epoxy resin and a structuring agent, wherein the structuring agent is a PTFE wax.
EFFECT: invention provides higher signal-to-noise ratio, which increases sensitivity of the analyte detection method.
