METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING BIOLOGICAL FLUID LEAKS FROM AN INCISION FOR A SURGICAL DRAINAGE TUBE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61F5/443

Abstract RU 2742709 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Fluid collection system comprises a base plate having an adhesive coating configured to bind the base plate to the patient's skin, and forming a substrate having a hole located approximately at the center, and a ring-like radially extending substrate connector connected to said substrate and disposed around said opening configured to receive the first end of the surgical drain tube. Mounting device comprises a device for removing leaks, wherein said device for leaking fluid medium removal has connector of device for fluid medium removal, which is made with possibility of being connected in a detachable manner to connector of substrate. Device connector comprises first housing element and second housing element received by said first housing element, and separator having upper surface and lower surface. First housing element comprises an outer membrane having a lower surface located on or connected to the upper surface of the splitter, and the second housing element comprises an inner membrane disposed on the lower surface of the separator or coupled therewith. Device has an outer film and an inner film, wherein the outer film is connected to the upper part of the first housing component, and the inner film is connected to the lower part of the first component of the housing with thereby providing connection of the internal part of the device for collection of the leaking fluid medium with the connector of the device for removal of fluid medium, wherein connection of connector of device for removal of fluid medium with connector of substrate forms between them chamber of fluid medium flow with flow of leaked fluid medium from section through said chamber of fluid medium flow to device for collection of leaked fluid medium.

EFFECT: technical result consists in minimizing leakage and eliminating frequent dressing change.
