METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE IN EARLY PERIOD OF DISEASE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61N5/06

Abstract RU 2742746 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, neurology and neurorehabilitation, and can be used for treating the patients with ischemic stroke in the early period of the disease. That is ensured by modulating terahertz radiation from 40 to 3.5 THz on a third day from the onset of the disease by IC-Dipole apparatus on the head scalp with infrared radiation having a wavelength range of 1-56 mcm, radiation intensity 2.4 mW/cm2, with integrated power of 9-54 mW at location of radiator with reflector, diameter of which is 9 cm, at distance of 1 cm from surface of zone of projections of focal lesions of brain. Therapeutic course is 10 procedures, 1 procedure daily.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness ensured by targeted exposure not only to the cerebral ischemia area, but also to the peri-infarction region having a high potential of reversibility of energy-deficient and destructive processes.
