SUBSTANCE: invention refers to compounds of general formula (IA) or their pharmaceutically acceptable stereoisomers, which have anti-inflammatory properties. In formula (IA), R_1A and R_2A are independently of each other H, provided that R_1A and R_2A both are not a hydrogen atom, a butyl group, C₇-C₃₀ alkyl group, a butyl or C₇-C₂₄ alkyl group which is covalently bonded to C₆-C₁₈ aryl group, or C₆-C₁₈ aryl group, covalently bound to butyl or C₇-C₂₄ alkyl group, or C₇-C₁₈ aryl group; Q₁, Q₃, Q₄ and Q₅ represent, independently of each other, an OH group or a caffeoyl group of formula (VI), provided that at least one of these radicals is not an OH group, and provided that compounds in which either Q₃ or Q₅ is a caffeoyl group, and Q₁, Q₄ and the other of Q₃ or Q₅ represent an OH group, are excluded. Invention also relates to a method for production thereof, to compounds obtained using said method, use of compounds of general formula (IA) for preventing and/or treating an inflammation or inflammatory disease, pharmaceutical composition for use in treating and/or preventing inflammation, particularly skin inflammation, or for stimulating healing, as well as to a cosmetic composition for use in treating and/or preventing skin aging, to obtain a soothing effect on skin and to stimulate regeneration of skin tissues, which contain compounds of general formula (IA).
