FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a high-voltage transmission line comprising an aluminum alloy-based conductor. Aluminum alloy contains one or more elements of group 3, 4 or 5 and not necessarily lanthanide, each with a concentration ranging from 0.006 to 0.030% (by mass), preferably in the range from 0.006 to 0.027% (by mass), for example, in the range from 0.008 to 0.025% (by mass), with the conductor being thermally treated at a temperature range from 185 to 315°C for a period of 12-24 hours so that the conductor has conductivity of about 61% IACS or more.
EFFECT: invention enables production of conductors for a high-voltage transmission line with high conductivity, high tensile strength as well as high thermal resistance.
