SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an agent for reducing concentration of peptides in saliva, a composition containing said agent and use thereof. Agent for reducing concentration of peptides in saliva is a strain of microorganisms Lactobacillus acidophilus, DSM 19827, wherein microorganism is in an inactivated form, which exhibits a property of reducing at least 20 % concentration of peptides of an artificial medium containing 7 g/l of peptides, when added to said medium and incubation for 5 minutes at 37 °C under aerobic conditions. A variant of the above agent represents a culture supernatant of the strain Lactobacillus acidophilus, DSM 19827. Also disclosed are compositions containing said agent or variant thereof, use thereof to reduce concentration of peptides in saliva.
EFFECT: invention enables to substantially reduce concentration of peptides in saliva.
