SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to wrought thermally non-hardenable aluminum-based alloys containing magnesium, and can be used to obtain wrought semi-finished products in the form of rolled plates and sheets intended for use in construction, shipbuilding, aviation, automotive and other industries industry. Aluminum-based alloy contains, mas.%: magnesium 5.8-6.1, zirconium 0.25-0.3, scandium 0.04-0.1, manganese 0.15-0.25 or chromium 0.15-0.25, erbium 0, 3-0.5 or ytterbium 0.2-0.4, Fe and Si in the form of impurities no more than 0.15, the rest is aluminum, while the structure of the alloys consists of an aluminum solid solution, crystallization phases 5-10 microns in size and dispersoids with the L12 structure up to 20 nm.

EFFECT: development of wrought aluminum alloys based on the Al-Mg-Sc-Zr system with Er or Yb additives with a reduced scandium concentration, having a yield point of at least 390 MPa, a tensile strength of at least 450 MPa, and a relative elongation of at least 7%.
