FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, mainly to melting and casting of non-ferrous metal alloys; it is intended for the manufacture of heat-resistant casting and deformable aluminum alloys reinforced with thermal and deformational processing. A heat-resistant casting and deformable aluminum alloy contains, wt.%: copper 4-4.5, ytterbium 2.7-3.0, or gadolinium 2.5-2.7, manganese 0.7-0.8, zirconium 0.25-0.3, titanium 0.1-0.15, boron 0.02-0.03, magnesium 0.9-1.1, aluminum is the rest. In this case, in the alloy, the ratio of content in wt.% of copper to ytterbium is 1.5, or the ratio of content in wt.% of copper to gadolinium is 1.64, wherein an alloy structure consists of a complex-alloyed solid solution and intermetallide particles with a size of 2 mcm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at an increase in a level of casting properties of aluminum alloys of Al-Cu-Yb and Al-Cu-Gd systems, strength at room and elevated temperatures, especially tensile yield strength at temperatures of 200-250°C and long-term strength at 250°C.
