FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used in making ceramic molds for precision casting of alloys from chemically active alloys. Binder contains, wt%: aluminum oxide 22–38, mixture of sodium hydrophosphate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate 0.4–4.0, mixture of citric and tartaric acid 0.5–5.0, dispersing component 0.6–1.8, stabilizing component 0.3–0.5, antifoaming agent 0.1–0.2, wetting agent 0.5–1.5, deionised water – the rest. Aluminum oxide used is aluminum oxide in form of powder obtained from a composition containing high-purity boehmite (γ-AlO(OH)) and / or re-precipitated aluminum hydroxide, which enables to obtain powder with low content of impurities and main active centers on surface of particles.
EFFECT: higher sedimentation resistance and longer life of binder.
