METHOD FOR SIMULATING THE EVACUATION OF INTRALENTICULAR GAS BUBBLES IN CATARACT SURGERY WITH FEMTO-LASIK TRACKING ON CADAVEROUS PORK EYES Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2743362 C2

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmosurgery.

SUBSTANCE: to simulate evacuation of intralenticular gas bubbles in cataract surgery with femto-lasik tracking on cadaverous porcine eyes, a canal is formed in a nucleus of a crystalline femtosecond laser, aspiration of cavitation gas bubbles accumulated between nucleus and posterior capsule of crystalline lens and performing hydrodissection. After performing the femto-lasik tracking step, introduction of an viscoelastic into an anterior eye chamber and removal of a fragment of the anterior capsule of the lens through a tunnel incision formed by a femtosecond laser in the anterior eye chamber is introduced and positioned in the central part of the nucleus of the nucleus of the cannula conductor with located inside its cavity of a flexible driller, which form a vertical channel towards the posterior pole of the lens through the entire thickness of the nucleus, at a depth not exceeding the thickness of the lens. After extracting drill-off from the cannula-conductor, a syringe with a solution for hydrodissection is attached to it and aspirated accumulated gas. Hydrodissection is performed as final step.

EFFECT: method enables reducing intracapsular pressure after femto-lasik phacofragmentation by evacuation of cavitation gas bubbles between anterior capsule and nucleus of lens cavity in an anterior chamber, providing optimal conditions for hydrodissection with minimum risk of posterior capsule rupture in cataract surgery with femto-lasik tracking.
