FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for mechanical extraction of bile duct stones during choledocholithotomy in laparotomic, laparoscopic or mini-access in complex forms of choledocholithiasis. Device for removal of stones from bile ducts comprises tube with gripping working end in form of plate with shape memory. Tube is made of elastic material with working channel diameter of 4–15 mm. Device includes induction coil with controlled force and magnetic field polarity, gripping device, made of magnetic polymer composite in the form of plates in number of 2–6 pieces with length of 10–50 mm and width of 3–14 mm with hydrophilic coating, base for plates fixation, resilient flexible string of inert material, a clamping device, a rope and a control lever of the distal end of the device, a screening layer located under the outer shell of the tube, a contact group for video and electrical outputs on the proximal end of the device, video camera on the distal end of the device, located at angle of 30–90° to device longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: using the invention enables removal of bile duct stones in complex choledocholithiasis with minimal risk of bile duct injury.
