FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of installing a voice prosthesis into a hole in the tracheoesophageal wall in a tracheostomy after removing a person's larynx, which consists in using a voice prosthesis in the form of a sleeve, equipped from the ends with flexible radially located clamps that form a coil, and the flexible clamps of the prosthesis can elastically fold towards the axis housing and unfold when installing the prosthesis in the hole in the tracheoesophageal wall, one fixator on each side of the hole. The voice prosthesis is preliminarily placed in a hollow cylindrical body so that the flexible retainers of the prosthesis are resiliently folded towards the axis of the body, and inside the housing a rod enabled for longitudinal movement is placed, the part of which, intended for gripping, protrudes beyond the housing from the side opposite to the ejection of the voice prosthesis. Then the cylindrical housing is placed in a cylindrical shell with the option of longitudinal movement inside it. The cylindrical shell at one end is provided with a conical tip formed from at least two petals made with the possibility of deviation from the axis of the tip. Then the tip of the cylindrical shell is inserted into the hole in the tracheoesophageal wall, it is pushed inside the hole until the front end of the tip reaches the back surface of the wall. Then, the body/housing is pushed inside the shell until the front end of the body coincides with the end of the tip. Next, using the rod, the voice prosthesis is pushed inside the body towards the tip, pushing out the voice prosthesis. After turning the distal retainer from the back side of the wall, they begin to remove the sheath together with the body from the hole until the voice prosthesis completely comes out and remains placed in the hole in the tracheoesophageal wall. Then, after making sure that the prosthesis is installed correctly, the stem is disconnected from the prosthesis. A device for installing a voice prosthesis into a hole in the tracheoesophageal wall in a tracheostomy after removal of the human larynx includes a hollow cylindrical body made with the possibility of placing a voice prosthesis inside it, intended for installation into an opening in the tracheoesophageal wall. A rod is arranged inside the body with the possibility of longitudinal movement, on the one hand it is configured to push the prosthesis out of the body, and on the other hand to grip the user's hands with the ability to protrude beyond the body from the side opposite to the pushing out of the voice prosthesis. The cylindrical body is placed in a cylindrical shell with the possibility of longitudinal movement inside it. The cylindrical shell at one end is provided with a conical tip formed from at least two petals made with the possibility of deviation from the axis of the tip.
EFFECT: inventions provide a reduction in the trauma of adjacent tissues, simplification and acceleration of the process of installing a prosthesis.
