SUBSTANCE: in one embodiment, a method of forming absorbent products may include moving canvases; attaching of the absorbent cores to the canvases at intervals to form open bases of the absorbent product; folding the bases of the absorbent product; forming a first bind of the side seams of the first pair of binds between the first canvases area and the second canvases area by means of the first sonotrode; forming a second bind of the side seams of a pair of binds between the first area and the second area by means of a second sonotrode, and the first bind being connected to the first base of the absorbent product and the second bind of the side seams connected to the second base of the absorbent product; and cutting the folded absorbent product bases between the first bind and the second bind to separate the first absorbent product base from the second absorbent product base.
